Bangalore!!! Bhubaneswar???

I'm currently at Bangalore..the Garden City..the IT Centre of India.......the city said to be the most 'brand conscious'. Lot's of over-bridges..big malls..swanky cars..sexy bikes..shrewd auto driver's..helpful localites..beautiful 'brand conscious' people. That's what this city has to offer. And coming from a place as small and peaceful n quite as Bhubaneswar.....this may seem over-crowded and disturbing, but for people like me...it's more happening and closer to heaven.
There's no comparison between Blore n Bbsr..they're worlds apart..Blore being the a class higher,or 10 classes higher?!
The mentality of the poeple..the outlook..the behaviour..is much better than at Bbsr. The atmosphere..the roads..the hygiene level..is much better too. The variety n diersity in food and stuff is much much larger here. Can our local Market Building of Bbsr ever be as good as Commercial Street of Blore? Can our 4 Cafe Coffee Days be equivalent to the 275 Cafe Coffee Days at Blore? Can our Master Canteen-Rajmahal Road be as well organised n pretty n clean as Brigade Road? Can our St. Josephs school be as good as Christ School of Blore?
I have been thinking of staying back at Blore and enjoy what it has to offer..then I think again,of going back to Bbsr and changing how things are. Creating a better city of what it is. I don't want such a blogpost by my kids around 20years down the line. I want change. I will change.

A New Year?

31st of December 1991..I was born. A day I can never forget(don't take it into account that I barely remember anything that happened that day).
31st of December 2008..The day I became 17. A day I can never forget(and I remember this day for valid reasons..not like the last para).
1st of January 2009..A new year, but pretty much the same headlines and news in the papers. A new year, but nothing is really new. Same headlines..same news..same people..same shows..same type of movies etc etc.
When is it going to change? Well..the least we can do is hope......the best we can do is take the initiative to stand up and make a difference in our respective fields. And if you say we're too young to change things..you've got it all wrong. It's not age that counts when you change the normal bulbs in your house to the fluorescent one's( you save electricity). It's not age that counts when you report seeing a dead animal on the road to the Police Station/Animal Rights people(you do a noble cause for animals). It's not age that counts when you help the poor(you do good to humanity). You see...it's not age that counts.

Now I need to take a leave. Got to rush. I should be back to posting very soon. Till then, take care. :)
